SMEs that have a decrease in turnover of at least 5% in 2020 compared to 2019 and that operate in the eligible sectors mentioned in the program, can benefit from non-reimbursable financing of up to 1 million euros for investment projects, by Action 4.1.1. Investments in productive activities, financed by the Operational Program Competitiveness 2014-2020. This information is based on the Applicant’s Guide consultative version – September 2021.
The intensity of public funding will be: 95% for micro-enterprises, 90% for small enterprises and 85% for medium-sized enterprises.
Eligible sectors of activity are: Manufacturing (without codes 11 manufacture of beverages, 12 manufacture of tobacco and 254 manufacture of armaments and ammunition), Construction, Wholesale and retail trade; Repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, Transport and storage, Hotels and restaurants, Professional, scientific and technical activities, Administrative and support service activities, Education, Health and social work, Performing arts, cultural and recreational activities, Other service activities .
The following investments will be financed:
- Construction / acquisition / extension of production / service spaces – maximum 50% of the project value;
- Endowment with tangible and intangible assets.
The project must include investments aimed at environmental objectives, in proportion of at least 20% of the total value of the project.
The proposed investment must be an initial investment, according to Regulation (EU) no. 651/2014, namely an investment in tangible and intangible assets related to starting a new unit, expanding the capacity of an existing unit, diversifying the production of a unit through products that were not previously manufactured in the unit or a fundamental change in the overall production process of an existing unit.
In the next period, the final version of Applicant’s Guide will be published, followed by the launch of the call that will be open for project submission for 30 calendar days. The call will be competitive, within the allocated budget. The minimum required score for the project is 70 points.
